Vashishta Gufa is a special cave in Rishikesh where you can find peace and quiet. It's a great place away from the city noise, perfect for people looking for calmness and spirituality. Visiting here gives you a chance to experience something ancient and peaceful.

This is the place where Rishi Vashisth and his wife used to meditate. It’s a temple cave which has no lights inside and is very quiet and serene. The vibes inside this place is very strong and the vibrations are very positive. One can go inside the cave and meditate for as long as you want unless it’s a puja time or it’s closing time. Ganges is also just beside which also gives you the sense of calmness. A must visit place if you are in and around Rishikesh but also make sure you keep the place clean and quiet.

You are going to know what PEACE is at this place. Even air has sound but here you are going to witness complete peace. Just go there, sit and meditate in the gufa near Mahadev Shivling for atleast 30 mins. Amazing place. A must visit..dont miss it at all. Location is so beautiful over there.

Imagine witnessing the place where Guru of Lord Rama, Seer Vashistha meditated along with his wife. Vashistha Gufa is a must visit place if you are interested in Indian mythology. The cave is well preserved and well maintained. Please dont forget to sit there and meditate and feel the aura of the place. Tip: You will have to descent down and climb back from main road so wear good shoes although the both descend and ascend is comfortable. River Ganges is further 100-150 meters from cave and the way is filled with sand and rocks but it is enjoyable. You will get spectacular views from Gufa and upon reaching river, you can enjoy bathing as well. Please remember there are no changing rooms as it is pure pristine natural bank of river. Go and witness a piece of ancient history

One of the most ancient cave in Uttarakhand,situated at Holy Ganges river bank in shivpuri. You will feel blessed if you did meditation for some time in the cave.

Vasistha cave is a significant place where the great sage had meditated...the place is well preserved with a temple and many sadhus still live here...the energy here is amazing!! It's on the way to devprayag.
